class of '09 banterit's the hardest thing to believe. i'm still in the semistate of denial. everyone is moving on. everyone is finding their place in this world... and people are moving apart, or growing closer... its a simple phenomenon that has occurred with each transition. but this one does not follow in the flow of childhood. it breaks that barrier. it's the first shaky flight. making your way into the world. showing your true colours. proving who you really are. sculpting your identity. making a name. sophistication. maturation. stepping into adulthood. big, scary world. the playground that silhouetted your life in high school disappears and you let yourself free fall now, without a safety net.
nothing remains the same.
of course, it never does. but can one imagine this much changing happening in the course of such a short amount of time? this much meaning, incrementally, things are happening, dramatizing almost... your life is played out like a movie. scene by scene, increasingly faster until it becomes as a blur in your eyes.
hopefully you can look back on this and see something of what you used to be. and how you've grown since then. that's always something to be gleamed from your past and cherished. there's no going back. no backspace. no delete.
